My trip to Arizona

A couple weeks ago I flew off to Arizona for some sun, rest, good food and of course shopping. Although I was only in Arizona for four days, it was the perfect amount of time to get away from reality. I have fallen in absolute love with Arizona, and I plan to make my way back there as soon as possible.

We started each morning with a hike. This was the breath taking view. Climbing mountains isn't so bad when you get to look at something so beautiful as this.

I have come to realize that I am slightly obsessed with Palm Trees. They are so cool!

If you are ever in Arizona, you need to go to Joe's Real BBQ. Hands down the best barbecue I have ever consumed-sorry mom!

Beautiful Palm Trees lit with christmas lights

 Cactus are also pretty cool!

Look how giant this cactus is!

These are just a few of the pictures I took while away. I wish I lived in such a beautiful place as Arizona, but I plan on visiting frequently.

Travel OOTD

On Sunday I am leaving this horrid snowy weather; yes snow in April, and jetting off to beautiful Arizona for a few days of fun in the sun. I thought this outfit was the right amount of comfy and cute for the airplane, meanwhile keeping it weather appropriate for the Arizona heat.

Outfit Details:

1.) Bralette: Victoria's Secret

2.) Sunglasses: Urban Outfitters

3.) Crop tank: Garage

4.) Platform Sandals: Little Burgundy (last summer)

5.) Boyfriend Jeans: Gap (last summer)

6.) Cape Sweater: Aritzia

Recent Purchases

As much as I hate to admit it, I may have a teeny tiny shopping problem. You could blame it on all of the fashion blog I follow on Instagram, or just on the fact that I have zero self control when it comes to shopping. With that being said, Urban Outfitters was recently having a sale, and with summer coming up (hopefully) I couldn't pass up these items.

Starting with the t-shirt dress; I couldn't help but get it in multiple colours. T-shirt dresses are such a staple in my summer wardrobe that I figured I would get a lot of use out of them both. The dress is made out of a super soft cotton material which makes it wearable all year long. From the reviews online, I sized up, which I am glad I did. It is an oversized fit, but it is on the shorter size. I am 5'5" and it fits mid-thigh, but the second you lift up your arms, watch out world your lady parts are exposed! Overall, it is a super cute dress and I'm very glad I picked it up!

The sunglasses were a bit out of my comfort zone. I've been seeing this style everywhere lately and I finally gave in and decided to try them out. I'm really glad I did because I can see myself wearing these sunglasses all summer long. I think paired with a cute t-shirt dress, some platform sandals and a top knot would be such an adorable outfit.

I am off to Arizona next weekend, so look out for another one of these Recent Purchases posts very soon!
